Author Guidlines

For the submission of the manuscript preparation and style guidelines follow, with a slight modification, documentation using the APA Style for citation.

Each manuscript must include a reference list containing only the quoted work and using the Mendeley or zotero tool. Each entry should contain all the data needed for unambiguous identification.

Language

The manuscript must be written in good academic English or Bahasa. For English written the spelling follows Webster’s International Dictionary. To ensure an anonymous review, the authors should not identify themselves directly or indirectly in their papers. A single author should not use the word “we”. Authors for whom English is not their native language are encouraged to have their papers checked before submission for grammar and clarity.

 

General guidelines:

  1. The manuscript must be original, no plagiarism, and has never been published nor under consideration in other scientific journal.
  2. Articles are written by a program Microsoft Word , A4 size paper, page margins: top 2,5 cm, left 2,5 cm, bottom 2.5 cm, and right 2.5 cm, typed with 1 density spacing, font Times New Roman 10, text format in single column.
  3. Please submit your manuscript file as a Microsoft Word extension Document (DOC)
  4. Abstract should be written in Bahasa and English, content of the manuscript can be written in Indonesian or English.
  5. For June issue, we accept submission from January to April, and editing and revision process is scheduled in May. For December issue is from July to October. Editing and revision process is scheduled in November.
  6. The manuscript can be accepted without repair, refurbishment accepted, or rejected, and a rejected article is not returned unless requested by the author.
  7. The length of the scientific manuscripts shall not exceed 4000 words or approximately 10-12 pages, in which the included drawings, graphs or tables (if any) are present.
  8. The terms in a foreign language or regional language in the text are written in italic.

  1. Title Page

Article Title

The title of the article should be specific and effective, and approximately 150 characters. Write an article title using simple and straightforward language that can offer readers a glimpse of the content with their first glance.

Author’s name and Affiliations

The full name of each author, the affiliation of each author at the time the research was completed and the address for each author including the full postal address, Country and email addresses. Where more than one author has contributed to the article, please provide detailed information for the corresponding author(s). The detailed information about the author will be placed on the ABOUT THE AUTHORS page.

  1. Abstract

The abstract should stand alone, meaning that no citations are in the abstract. The abstract should concisely inform the reader of the manuscript’s purpose, its methods, its findings, and its value. The abstract should be relatively nontechnical, yet clear enough for an informed reader to understand the manuscript’s contribution. The manuscript’s title, but neither the author’s name nor other identification designations, should appear on the abstract page. An abstract, of no more than 160 words, should be presented both in English and Indonesian on a separate page immediately preceding the text of the manuscript. (An Indonesian abstract will be provided for the non-Indonesian authors once the manuscript is accepted for publication)

  1. Keyword

Keywords are an important part of writing an abstract. Authors should select a maximum of five keywords that are specific and reflect what is essential about the article. Keywords and the article’s classification should be provided after the abstract.

  1. Body of manuscript:
  2. Introduction
  • What is the purpose of the study? Why are you conducting the study?The main section of the article should start with an introductory section which provides more details about the paper’s purpose, motivation, research methods and findings. The introduction should be relatively nontechnical, yet clear enough for an informed reader to understand the manuscript’s contribution.Avoid the sub-sub in the introduction.
  • Introduction should contain the background of problems, problems and research objectives.
  • Percentage of page length between 10-15% of the total length of a manuscript.
  • References are shown by writing the author's family name / last name and year of issue, without page number.( APA STYLE USING MENDLEY OR ZOTERO TOOL)
  • The theoretical basis is displayed in complete, concise, and completely relevant sentences for the purpose of writing scientific articles.
  • The manuscript is written with a density of 1 Times New Roman 10

2.Methods

This section typically has the following sub-sections: sampling (a description of the target population, the research context, and units of analysis; sampling; and respondents’ profiles); data collection; and measures (alternatively: measurement).

3.Results and Discussion

The author needs to report the results in sufficient detail so that the reader can see which stastical analysis was conducted and why, and later to justify their conclusions.

Reporting results: The author may assume that the reader has a working knowledge of basic statistics (i.e., typically the contents covered in a 1st statistics course).

4.Conclusion

In this section, the author presents brief conclusions from the results of research with suggestions for advanced researchers or general readers. A conclusion may cover the main points of the paper, but do not replicate the abstract in the conclusion.

  1. References

In writing the article, the author(s) are required to use reference management tools (example: MendeleyEndNote, or Zotero) in writing the citation and list of references. Authors may use some flexible terms for the subheading following the main heading. Authors are encouraged to use the manuscript template that can be found  menu (Journal Template).
